Fertilization and Weed Control

Early Spring – Application of a crabgrass pre-emergent treatment as well as a slow release fertilizer to provide key nutrients to promote root growth, ensure a vibrant green color, and speed up recovery from the winter dormancy.

Late Spring – Application of a slow release fertilizer to provide key nutrients and weed control.

Early Summer - Application of slow release fertilizer to maintain healthy growth, spot treatment for any remaining weeds, and monitoring to identify any potential problems.

Mid-Summer - Application of slow release fertilizer to maintain healthy growth, spot treatment for any remaining weeds, and inspection to identify any insect or grub infestations.

Late Summer - Application of slow release fertilizer to maintain healthy growth and inspection to ensure there is no potential damage as a result of higher summer temperatures.

Fall - Application of slow release fertilizer to maintain healthy growth, spot treatment for any recurring weeds, monitoring of potential problems, and suggestions of additional services or changes that would enhance your lawn’s health and appearance for next season.

Pre-Winter – Application of high potassium macronutrients to prepare your lawn for winter and maintain a healthy root system.  This treatment will also limit the impact of snow mold in the spring.
